About Underway

Underway is built around a simple idea: a worthwhile weekend escape should not require a big budget or hours of research. We create ready-to-follow road-trip itineraries for couples, families, and locals looking for somewhere nearby to explore.

Each itinerary brings together route timing, free or low-cost stops, food and parking details, and a realistic budget for two. Required costs are separated from optional spending, with rainy-day and accessibility alternatives to help you plan.

We’re starting with a small regional library and building from there. Hours, fees, and seasonal access are rechecked, and routes are refreshed when conditions change. Confirm current local details before you travel.
